We did get away 7/1/07 to McNairs Beach. Anchored two nights, one day.
Fun little 'shakedown' and we loved it!

Full original teak interior.
We recovered original dinette table. Had it restored as it
had been cut in half! Main cabin cushions had been redone in teak velour with
enough cloth remaining so I could finish forepeak cushions adding
memory foam in before covering.
Pics of old Volvo and new Yanmar engines
Refurbishing took longer than we wanted. But we were learning
the whole time. Got electrical all redone from 'Mexican' jury rigs.
We did get old Volvo enging working but not reliably enough to
leave the bay.

Then all the hurricane disasters hit and John was off working
a good part of 3 years. But that got us our new Yanmar engine.

Preparing for launch
We had to reset up after truck haul from Mexico. John supervised loading and unloading, excellent job!
She needed new deck paint and new bottom paint before launch.
All done at Napa Valley Marina.
Also had a new naming day. 5/2005
...and finally launched into water. We took her down river to new home
at Vallejo Marina.
